Alert for Providers Submitting Claims with CPT® Codes 92507 and 92508

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) is aware of and working to resolve an incorrect Fee Schedule update to Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Code 92507 and 92508 for speech and language pathology services. This may have affected providers in PPO Area A beginning June 1, 2021.
BCBSIL is currently resolving this issue and expects it to be resolved on June 9, 2021. Claims paid for this code from June 1, 2021 through June 8, 2021, will be adjusted. Providers do not need to take any action.
