Behavioral Health Accreditation

Health Care Service Corporation, a Mutual Legal Reserve Company (HCSC), operates the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in IllinoisMontanaNew MexicoOklahoma and Texas. HCSC is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. 

HCSC’s Behavioral Health Care Management program has been accredited for Health Utilization Management since October 2012. This accreditation covers the Behavioral Health Utilization Management program for the Commercial/Group, Federal Employee Program® (FEP®) and Retail Exchange Affected Markets lines of business for all five Plan states.
